Abstract:【Objective】 To analyze and compare the clinical effects of traditional method and oral cavity endoscope method on oral examination in elderly. 【Methods】 247 elderly patients in line with the standard were divided into study group (125 cases) and control group (122 cases) according to order of time, the study group was examined by oral cavity endoscope, the control group given conventional oral examination; diagnostic rate of oral disease, immediate cleaning rate, satisfaction degree after correct treatment, average time of diagnosis and average examination cost of two groups were compared. 【Results】 There were no statistical differences in diagnostic rate of oral disease in two groups, immediate cleaning rate and satisfaction degree after correct treatment of study group were significantly higher than control group, and average diagnosis time and examination cost of study group were significantly lower than control group. 【Conclusion】 Oral cavity endoscope examination method can increase immediate cleaning rate and satisfaction degree of the elderly patients, improve the communications effects between doctors and patients, make their relationships more closely, having advantages of low cost and good efficiency.
