Abstract:【Objective】 To briefly discuss the preliminary application and experience of transumbilical tri-port laparoscopic ureterolithotomy. 【Methods】 From November, 2010 to February, 2013, 11 cases of patients with calculi in the upper and middle ureter were treated with transumbilical tri-port laparoscopic ureterolithotomy. 【Results】 All the surgeries were completed successfully, the average operation times were 97 min, the mean amount of bleeding were 33 mL, the mean hospital stays of patients were 5.6 d. There were no recurrent calculi cases and all of hydronephrosis improved after operations from three to twelve months. 【Conclusion】 Transumbilical tri-port laparoscopic surgery is a safety, efficient and reliable method, which has an excellent efficacy of minimally invasive treatment and hairdressing.It can be used properly in primary hospital.
