Abstract:【Objective】 To compare and analyze efficacy and safety of treatment of complex renal calculi with the micro-channel/standard channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery . 【Methods】 120 patients with complex renal calculi were randomly divided into Observation Group and Control Group, 76 cases in each group. The Observation Group received micro-channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery, while the Control Group received standard channel percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery. 【Results】 There was no statistical difference in transfusion rate and stone clearance rate between the Observation Group and Control Group (P >0.05). However, the incidence of postoperative fever in the Observation Group was significantly lower than that of the control group, thus there was a significant difference between these sets of data (P <0.05). The average operation time of the Observation Group was significantly shorter than that of the Control Group, thus there was a significant difference between these sets of data (P <0.05); There was no statistical difference in average postoperative hospital stays between the Observation Group and Control Group. 【Conclusion】 Microchannel percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery can shorten the operation time, relief harm on kidney tissue and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, thus it has a better therapeutic effect and safety.
