Abstract:【Objective】 To discuss and evaluate the surgical techniques of arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and its clinical results. 【Methods】 Between June 2012 and December 2013, 21 patients with rotator cuff tear were treated with arthroscopy repair. The mean age was 51(43~64) years, All patients were treated by arthroscopic debridment, the supraspinatus tendon insertion reconstruction at the greater tuberosity with suture anchors. Arthroscopic acromioplasty was taken to the positive shoulder impingment test. 【Results】 The outcomes were evaluated at a mean of postoperative 9 months (range, 3~14 months), UCLA scores improved from preoperative (7.3±2.0) points to postoperative (31.4±3.3) points, patients had significantly higher scores for the pain, function, range of motion, and elevation components of the UCLA rating scale compared with preoperative scores. 【Conclusion】 Patients had significantly higher scores for the pain, function, range of motion, and elevation components of the UCLA rating scale compared with preoperative scores.
