【Objective】 To assess the safety and feasibility of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (m-PCN L) with laparoscopy in treating ectopic kidney with calculi. 【Methods】 We retrospectively investigated the outcome of 21patient of ectopic kidney with calculi who were treated with minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-PCNL) with laparoscopy; Of 21 cases ectopic kidney with calculi within kidneys calculi was 18 and calculi within ureter was 3. 【Results】 The group operation 21 cases were first adopted indwelling ureteral catheter on the affected side, laparoscopic observation of ectopic kidney position and adjacent, then under direct vision minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy. 100% (21/21) were rendered stone free at 1 session. Average operation time was 120 minutes, and the mean hospital stay was 10 days. No major complications were seen. Follow up w as 3 to 21 months, no stone recurrence was noted. 【Conclusion】 Minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy (mini-PCNL) with laparoscopy for treatment ectopic kidney with calculi is a safe and effective method.
