Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the popliteal cyst of arthroscopic treatment. 【Methods】 From December 2008 to 0cotober 2012, 36 knees with popliteal fossa cyst were arthroscopically treated with internal suture, using Rauschning and lingdgren criteria of curative effect. 【Results】 32 patients were followed up for 6 to 54 months with average of 26.2 months. All patients were incision healing, no blood vessel and nerve damage, no case of recurrence. One patients of knee posteromedial approach prolonged healing time, without red, without special treatment, healing restricted activities. At the end of the follow-up patients with grade 0 in 12 cases, 4 cases in grade Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅰ 1 cases before operation in 8 cases, 12 cases of grade Ⅱ, compared with 16 cases in grade Ⅲ, the difference was statistically significant (Z =-14.374, P =0.012). 【Conclusion】 Arthroscopic treatment of popliteal cyst has a little injury, rapid recovery, and the recurrence rate is low characteristics.
