Abstract:【Objective】 To observe the effects of salvianolate on lung injury during OLV in thoracoscopic surgeries and to explore the related mechanisms. 【Methods】 44 patients received OLV during thoracoscopic surgeries were divided into control group and treatment group evenly and randomly. Treatment group received additional pretreatment of salvianolate before OLV. Serum levels of IL6, SOD and MDA, whole blood PMN%, and protein level of SPA in lung tissue before OLV, 1 hour after OLV and 2 hours after OLV were observed and compared. 【Results】 Serum levels of IL-6 and MDA increased while serum SOD and SPA in lung tissue decreased significantly after OLV (P <0.05); compared with control group, serum levels of IL-6 and MDA decreased, while serum level of SOD and lung tissue SPA increased significantly in treatment group after OLV. 【Conclusion】 Pretreatment of salvianolate protects lung after OLV during thoracoscopic surgeries.
