Abstract:【Objective】 To compare the clinical effect of flexible ureteroscope incision and drainage and retroperitoneoscopic unroofing. 【Methods】 40 patients with renal cyst, adjacent to the renal collecting system, were divided into study group and control groups with 20 cases each. The ages were from 44 year to 75 year (averaged 61 year). The study group was incised and drained by the flexible ureteroscope. And the control group accepted the method of retroperitoneoscopic unroofing. The effect of treatment, complication and results postoperative follow-up were observed. 【Results】 There were statistically significant differences (P <0.05) betwecn the study group and the control group in the aspect of the blood loss during the operation, time of operation, Bostoperative pain scores and hospital stay after operation. During a follow-up of 12 months, the renal cyst did not recurred in the two groups. 【Conclusion】 The flexible ureteroscope incision and drainage method is minimally invasive, safe, effective, no pain, fewer complications, shorter hospitalization time, rapid recovery and good cosmetic effect in the short term.
