Abstract:【Objective】 To evaluate the value of stomach fast developer of B-mode ultrasound in bowel preparation of capsule endoscopy. 【Methods】 A total of 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups: Group A (n=30) received simethicone, and Group B (n=30) received stomach fast developer of B-mode ultrasound, both of two groups received magnesium sulfate, compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte and compound cathartic. Positive detection rate, the amount of bubbles, the incidence of adverse reactions, gastric emptying time and small bowel transit time were compared between those two groups. 【Results】 The positive detection rate, the amount of bubbles, the incidence of adverse reactions, gastric emptying time and small bowel transit time were not significantly different (P >0.05). 【Conclusion】 The stomach fast developer of B-mode ultrasound may reduce intraluminal bubbles as well as simethicone, and that has cheaper price, so it should be widely applied.
