Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the value and technical points of rigid choledochoscope application in laparoscopic common bile duct exploration lithotomy. 【Methods】 The clinical data of 40 cases of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration for choledocholithiasis with rigid choledochoscope were analyzed since June 2010. 【Results】 All operations were successful, the stone-free rate was 80% (32/40). The complication rate was 10%(4/40), including bile leakage in 3 cases. The puncture hole infection in 1 case, which were all cured by conservative treatment .【Conclusion】 Application of rigid choledochoscope in laparoscopic common bile duct exploration lithotomy is safe, effective, convenient and fast, especially for the larger stones.
