Abstract:【Objective】 To verify the safety and feasibility of transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) radical nephrectomy in the treatment of kidney tumors. 【Methods】 Prospective analysis of transumbilical laparoendoscopic single-site surgery (LESS) (12 cases) was conducted from April 2011 to November 2012. Patient condition, tumor characteristics, operating time, blood loss, complications, analgesic use, visual analong pain scale (VAPS) and days of hospital stay were analyzed. 【Results】 All 12 cases were successfully performed. 2 cases added a 5-mm trocar, and none convert to open surgery. The patients were followed up for (9.5±5.3) (3~15) months, no evidence of recurrence or metastasis was detected.【Conclusion】 LESS is safe and technically feasible for the treatment of renal tumor but need further clinical investigation.
