Abstract:【Objective】 To probe into the clinical effects of laparoscopic and laparotomy for low-set colorectal cancer. 【Methods】88 cases of low-set colorectal cancer patients in our hospital were selected and divided into the laparoscopic group and laparotomy group randomly. The improvement of indicators during and after surgery and postoperative of the patients in two groups were compared and analyzed. 【Results】 Compared with laparotomy group, the patients in laparoscopic group incision length were shortened significantly, the blood loss during surgery was reduced significantly, the operative time was shortened significantly (all P <0.05). Compared with laparotomy group, the patients in laparoscopic group the time of exhaust from flatus, intestinal recovery, ambulation, catheterization, postoperative stay at hospital were shorted significantly (all P <0.05). Compared with laparotomy group, the patients in laparoscopic group the ratio of complication, distant metastasis and local recurrence were decreased significantly, the ratio of three-year disease-free survival was increased significantly (all P <0.05). 【Conclusions】 The clinical effects of laparoscopic surgery were better than laparotomy surgery for patients with low-set colorectal cancer, and it could improve the prognosis of patients effectively.
