Abstract:【Objective】 To study the effect of acupuncture on pain after endoscopic sinus surgery. 【Methods】 80 cases of sinusitis endoscopic nasal sinus surgery under local anesthesia in our hospital were randomized into the control group (buprofen sustained-release capsules) and the observation group (acupuncture), 40 cases in each group. The clinical efficacy and pain scores such as VAS scores, T scores and PPI scores in the two groups were observed and compared. 【Results】 Compared with the control group, the difference of total effective rate was not obviously changed (P >0.05). Compared with the pre-treatment, the VAS scores, T scores and PPI scores in the two groups on post-treatment were significantly reduced (P <0.05). Compared with the control group, the VAS scores, T scores and PPI scores in the observation group on post-treatment were significantly reduced (P <0.05). 【Conclusions】 The acupuncture can significantly relieve the pain after endoscopic sinus surgery with simple operation and high security, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
