【Objective】 To study the efficacy of painless gastroscopy for digestive disease of schizophrenia patients. 【Methods】 In our hospital two hundred and forty schizophrenia patients with digestive disease were divided randomly into the intervention and control group. The routine abdominal examination and experiential drug therapy of digestive troubles were used in the control group, the experimental group was not only used by the routine abdominal examination but also examined by painless gastroscopy. Then these digestive diseases were treated by drug in light of gastroscope checking results. The impact of treatment on both the two groups was comparatively analyzed. 【Results】 In the intervention group the cost of examination of these digestive disease was higher than the control group (P <0.05). The effect rate of these digestive disease was higher than the control group (P <0.05). The average growth rate per annum of these digestive disease was higher than the control group (P <0.05). The total cost of schizophrenia patients with digestive disease in the intervention group was lower than the control group (P <0.05). The drug ratio was lower than the control group (P <0.05). 【Conclusion】 Painless gastroscopy.can obviously increase the impact of treatment from digestive disease with schizophrenia.
