Abstract:【Objective】 To compare transurethral resection and holmium laser resection on patients with superficial bladder cancer. 【Methods】 118 cases of patients with superficial bladder cancer were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 59 cases in each group. The patients in observation group received holmium laser resection, and transurethral resection was implemented in control group. The surgery effect and perioperative inflammatory cytokines were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 The operation time and blood loss volume underwent transurethral holmium laser resection in observation group were shorter than that in control group, intraoperative complication rate in observation group was lower(P<0.05). The levels of IL-6 and TNF-α postoperative in observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, IL-10 level was significantly higher (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Transurethral holmium laser resection of superficial bladder cancer can shorten the operation time, reduce bleeding loss, reduce complications and obviously reduce postoperative expression of inflammatory cytokines
