Abstract:Abstract: Objective?To explore the clinical characteristics and the corresponding treatment of esophageal foreign bodies.?Methods?Clinical data of 252 patients with esophageal foreign body from 2010 to 2018 was collected. Among which, 114 were male, 138 cases were female, aged 1 ~ 87, the median age is 52 years old. All the patients have a clear history of foreign bodies ingestion or eat, along with dysphagia and swallowing pain and other symptoms, chest X-ray/CT or esophageal barium examination to diagnose.?Results?Most common adult foreign species to plant, such as the date of about 67.06%; Followed by animal, such as bone is about 15.87%. Most children foreign bodies were coins, accounts for about 8.33%. Position eyewinker stays on for esophageal segment (93.25%), followed by the middle esophagus, accounts for about 4.76%, the lower esophagus is extremely rare. Line rigid esophagoscope remove foreign bodies are the vast majority (92.86%), 13 cases of severe complication in all these patients.?Conclusion?Esophageal foreign body is one of the common emergency of division of otolaryngology, sees more at old people and children, should be timely diagnosis, delay in treatment can cause a series of complications.
