Abstract:To evaluate the feasibility and advantage of laparoscopic surgery in the Synchronous treatment of adult inguinal hernia with cryptorchidism. Methods We retrospectively analyzed 5 cases with laparoscopic total extraperitoneal approach in the Synchronous treatment of adult inguinal hernia with cryptorchidism from October 2015 to October 2018. Results There were 5 patients, 2 patients had inguinal hernia with non-abdominal cryptorchidism, and 3 patients had inguinal hernia with abdominal cryptorchidism. 5 cases were successfully completed the operation of laparoscopic cryptorchidectomy and TEP. The mean operation time was (76.5 ± 10.4) minutes (65 ~ 120), and the mean postoperative in-patient time was (5.5 ± 2.2) days (4 ~ 8). The longest follow up was 36 months (mean 12 months). 1 case had scrotal seroma after operation, and was cured after suction. No recurrence, no infection, no chronic pain, no testicular atrophy and no ejaculate pain was happened. And other surgical complications were not occurred.?Conclusion?Laparoscopic total extraperitoneal approach in the Synchronous treatment of adult inguinal hernia with cryptorchidism is a feasible and safe. And it has the advantages to be popularized
