Abstract:To evaluate the use of electronic gastroscope in diagnosis and treatment of unexplained abdominal pain. Methods The clinical data in 16 cases of unexplained abdominal pain diagnosed and treated by electronic gastroscope were retrospectively analyzed. The clinical application value is evaluated by analyzing the diagnosis and postoperative complications occurrence. Results The pathological causes of 14 patients were documented through electronic gastroscope, the definite diagnosis rate of was 87.5%. Among them, adhesion was confirmed in 3 cases, peritoneal tuberculosis in 5 cases, peritoneal malignancy in 5 cases, chronic salpingitis in 1 case and 2 cases did not see the exact anomalies, there were no serious complications in all patients. Conclusion Electronic gastroscope is both beneficial and safe in patients with unexplained abdominal pain, has great advantages in the treatment of abdominal adhesion band release. On account of the less complications and high accuracy, it is worth popularizing application clinically.
