Abstract:To evaluate the outcome of arthroscopy treatment using suture fixation combined with Endo-Button in treatment of tibial avulsion fracture of posterior cruciate ligament. Methods From June 2015 to June 2018, 16 patients with PCL avulsion fracture were treated with arthroscopic suture fixation combined with Endo-Button. There were 10 male patients and 6 female patients with an average age of 38 years old (range, 23~56 years). All the patients were evaluated with the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) knee subject score, knee Lysholm score and imaging examination before and after operation. Results All the 16 cases were followed up for 6 ~ 36 months (average 19.2 months). Fortunately, there were no postoperative complications such as incision infection, deep vein thrombosis and so on. The subjective score of IKDC knee joint increased from (48.6 ± 3.4) to (93.8 ± 3.2). The Lysholm score of knee joint function increased from (36.6 ± 2.2) to (93.6 ± 2.3), there was significant difference before and after operation (P < 0.05). Conclusion Arthroscopic suture fixation combined with Endo-Button is a simple, safe, reliable, effective, and micro-invasive treatment to PCL tibial avulsion fracture. Which is good for early postoperative rehabilitation.
