Abstract:Abstract: Objective To explore the feasibility of laparoendoscopic single-site surgery with glove port on patients with benign fallopian tube for ovarian diseases. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 86 patients underwent laparoscopic surgery (laparoscopic salpingectomy or ovarian tumorectomy) from Jan to May 2018. These patients were divided into two groups by different surgical methods: laparoendoscopic single-site group (LESS group, n = 30) and multi-port laparoscopic group (MPLS group, n = 56). The surgical access of LESS group was obtained via the glove port and a circular wound retractor. The operation was performed using conventional laparoscopic devices. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative pain scores, postoperative complications between the two groups were compared. Results There were no significant differences in postoperative exhaust time, postoperative hospital stay, cost of the surgery, the time of β-HCG declining to normal level between the two groups (P > 0.05). LESS group has longer operation time and more intraoperative blood loss. However, cosmetic result in LESS group is better than that in MPLS group. Conclusion Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery is a safe and effective approach, with better cosmetic effects in treatment of benign adnexal diseases.
