Abstract:Abstract: Objective To study the clinical value of hysteroscopy in diagnosis of postmenopausal intrauterine lesions. Method 100 patients with postmenopausal endometrial lesions from April 2016 to April 2018 were randomly divided into control group (diagnostic curettage) and observation group (hysteroscopy), 50 patients in each group. The detection rate of postmenopausal endometrial lesions, and the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for postmenopausal endometrial lesions in two groups were compared. Results Compared with control group, the detection rate of postmenopausal endometrial lesions was significantly increased in observation group (P < 0.05); Compared with control group, the detection rate of endometrial polyps and submucous myoma was obviously increased in observation group (P < 0.05); Compared with the control group, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value for diagnosis as endometrial polyps, submucous myoma, endometrium hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma were higher in observation group. Conclusion The hysteroscopy is effective and accurate in diagnosis of postmenopausal endometrial lesions with advantages such as simple, rapid, less invasive, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
