Abstract:Abstract: Objective To study and analyze the failure reason and improvement strategy for laparoscopic surgical instruments. Methods 6 800 cases of laparoscopic surgeries performed from January 2017 to July 2018 were selected for analysis. The causes of malfunctions of laparoscopic surgical instruments from January 2017 to October 2017 was analyzed and improvement strategies were proposed which will be implemented in November 2017. Then compare the incidence of failures of laparoscopic surgical instruments before and after the implementation of the improved strategies. Results The incidence of failures in the improved laparoscopic surgical instruments was significantly lower than that before the improvement, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Physicians, nursing staff, improper operation and post-operative cleaning and disinfection are not the main reasons for the use of laparoscopic surgical instruments. Conclusion The main reasons for the failure of endoscopic surgical instruments are improper application of surgical instruments by doctors and nurses during the operation and the failure of cleaning and disinfection after operation. Therefore, it is essential to carry out targeted management for specific reasons, which can ensure the endoscope. The surgical instruments are in good working condition, laying the foundation for the smooth implementation of the operation and reducing the maintenance cost.
