Abstract:Abstract: Objective To determine the feasibility and efficacy of double forceps endoscopic in treating submucosal tumors in the cardiac and gastric fundus part.Methods Clinical data of 28 patients with submucosal tumor in the cardiac and gastric fundus part underwent endoscopic treatment were analyzed. Operative, postoperative conditions and long-term follow-up of these patients were evaluated.Results Both the success rate and the complete resection rate were 100% and success of EPSS suture repair the wound in the stomach wall. The average maximum diameter of the tumor was 2.3 cm and average operation time was 65 min. Average median postoperative hospital was 7.5 d. There is no transfer patients with surgical treatment. All of patients were follow-up after treatment. And without recurrence under gastroscopy for completed follow-up review patients.Conclusions Double forceps endoscopic is safe and effective for submucosal tumors in the cardiac and gastric fundus part.
