Abstract:Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor in the rehabilitation of chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps after endoscopic surgery. Methods 192 cases of patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps underwent endoscopic sinus surgery were randomly divided into 2 groups. 96 patients who were not treated with rh-bFGF were selected as control group. 96 patients treated with rh-bFGF were treated as observation group. The signs, remission time, hospitalization time, clinical efficacy, serum white blood cell count and inflammatory factors, adverse drug reactions and complications were observed between the two groups. The time and rate of complete epithelial metaplasia, clinical efficacy and complications were observed in the two groups after the operation. Results The complete epithelial time of nasal mucosa in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). The proportion of complete epithelial metaplasia of nasal mucosa in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group within 6 months after operation, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). There were 11 cases in the control group and 1 cases in the observation group. Conclusions Adjuvant therapy with recombinant rh-bFGFafter nasal endoscopic surgery can promote the repair of nasal mucosa and reduce the occurrence of complications, and the curative effect is remarkable.
