Abstract:To investigate the impact of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy on urinary control and sexual function of patients after laparoscopy. Methods The clinical data of 53 cases of localized prostate cancer patients from January 2014 to September 2017 was retrospectively analyzed. 29 cases of them underwent modified laparoscopic radical prostatectomy as the modified group, while 24 cases underwent laparoscopic radical resection of prostate cancer as the conventional group. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage, postoperative recovery of urinary continence and sexual function were compared between the two groups. Results The operation time, positive margin rate, hospitalization time were no significant difference (P > 0.05) between the two groups, while intraoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage in modified group were less than that in the conventional group (P < 0.05). One month, three months and six months after the operation, the recovery of urinary continence and erectile function improved better than those of conventional group (P < 0.05).?Conclusion?The modified laparoscopic radical resection of the prostatic carcinoma can effectively preserve the postoperative urinary control and erectile function of the patients with localized prostate cancer.
