Abstract:Objective? To investigate the impact of timing of medicine-taking on the preparation of intestinal tract during colonoscopy examination.?Methods?200 cases undergoing colonoscopy were divided into two groups, A group: 5:00 ~ 7:00 and B group: 10:00 ~ 12:00 to receive colonoscopy examination before 4 H oral polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder (PGEP) 139.12 g (2 000 ml) as a cleansing agent, endoscopy bowel preparation scale (Boston BBPS) and intraluminal bubble scores were recorded in bowel preparation time, tolerance to intestinal preparation by questionnaire in patients with bowel preparation records of adverse reactions in the process.?Results? All patients in A group completed the bowel preparation for colonoscopy and a scores of BBPS was significantly higher than that of B group (P < 0.05), A group intestinal cavity bubble score was significantly lower than that in B group (P < 0.05). A group, intestinal preparation time is less than B group (P < 0.05), tolerance of A group is higher than that of B group (P < 0.05), adverse reactions of A group was lower than that in B group (P < 0.05).?Conclusion?5:00 ~ 7:00 taking polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder for bowel preparation for colonoscopy examination, in short time, good effect and convenient treatment. Patients can reduce fasting and wait for the discomfort (dizziness, hunger) and other potential risks, increase their compliance and tolerability, make the colonoscopy smoothly.
