Abstract:Objective?To study the diagnostic value of capsule endoscopy in the etiology of small intestinal bleeding. Methods?To review the capsule endoscopy results of 112 patients with small intestinal bleeding in our department were analyzed by evaluating the diagnostic rate and safety. Results?112 cases of patients were successfully completed capsule endoscopy, 94 cases of small intestinal lesions were detected, the positive rate was 83.93 %. The patients in the test had good compliance of capsule endoscopy and no complications such as obstruction of the capsule and the embedding of the capsule. Conclusion?Capsule endoscopy is a noninvasive, safe and effective method, which can be used as the first choice for the diagnosis of small intestinal bleeding.
