Abstract:Objective To study the clinical features of primary fibrous histiocytoma of the stomach and explore way of endoscope in its treatment. Methods Clinical features of 2 patients with primary fibrous histiocytoma of stomach received endoscopic therapy were analyzed and the related literatures were reviewed. Results The first case was 50-year-old male with a lesion located in the gastric angle. The second case was 59-year-old female with a lesion in the gastric body. Both patient underwent endoscopic treatment and theirs' lesions were completely resected. Histologically, both were diagnosed benign fibrous histiocytoma. The prognosis of 2 patients was good, without recurrence or metastasis. Conclusions Endoscopic treatment for primary benign gastric fibrous histiocytoma is feasible.
