Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical value of fiber bronchoscopy in neonatal difficult endotracheal intubation. Methods Clinical data of tracheal intubation guided by fiber bronchoscopy in 23 cases of newborns with difficult tracheal intubation were retrospectively analyzed. Results 23 cases of neonatal via nasal tracheal intubation guided by fiber bronchoscopy were performed successfully; 20 cases succeeded of one-time operation, 3 cases succeeded after readjust position. All the newborns have no complications occurred. Conclusions Tracheal intubation guided by fiber bronchoscope in difficult tracheal intubation of neonatal can improve the success rate and reduce complications.
