Abstract:Objective To analyze the efficacy and impact on knee joint function recovery and life quality of small incision surgery guided by knee arthroscopy for patients with fracture of tibial plateau (FTP). Methods We collected and retrospectively analyzed 83 FTP cases and divided them into the control group receiving traditional surgical internal fixation and the observation group receiving small incision surgery guided by knee arthroscopy. Surgery status, complications, knee joint function recovery and life quality of 2 groups were observed and compared. Results Compared to the control group, the surgery time extended, activity time decreased, the bleeding volume and the drainage decreased, P < 0.05. The complication rate of was significantly lower than that of the control group (4.3% vs 27.0%), P < 0.05. The excellent and good rate of the function of knee joint in the observation group was 90.3%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (70.3%), P < 0.05. knee joint function recovery of the observation group was significantly superior to the control group, P < 0.05. The life quality of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion Treatments of small incision surgery guided by knee arthroscopy is less traumatic, effective for improving the knee joint function recovery and life quality, and decreasing the incidences of complications in treating FTP.
