Abstract:Objective To compare the effect of interventional bronchoscopy combined with local Mitomycin C and bronchoscope interventional therapy in treatment of tracheotomy airway stenosis. Methods 38 cases of patients after tracheotomy airway stenosis were randomly divided into two groups, observation group and control group with 19 cases in each group. The observation group with interventional bronchoscopy combined with local Mitomycin C, the control group using bronchoscopic interventional therapy. Two groups were observed cough, dyspnea symptoms, treatment times, hospitalization time and costs. Results The observation group of patients with cough symptom score, VAS score lower than the control group (P < 0.05), two groups of patients with no significant difference in the degree of dyspnea (P > 0.05). The observation group, the number of times of treatment, hospitalization time, costs less than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusions Bronchoscopic interventional therapy combined with Mitomycin C local airway stenosis is more effective than interventional bronchoscopy after tracheotomy.
