Abstract:Abstract: Objective To explore the rigid ureteroscopy combined plasma cylindrical electrode effects in patients with urethral stricture. Methods Selected 28 cases of urethral stricture plasma cylindrical electrode from March 2010 to November 2014 as the research subject, used rigid ureteroscopy combined plasma cylindrical electrode for treatment. The operation indexes after statistical treatment, compared before and after treatment IPSS score and sexual function. Results 26 cases were performed successfully. Operation time 30 minutes to 117 minutes. Indwelling catheter time 2~4 weeks. Leave during the pipe gave anti-infection detumescence treatment, oral hormone to soften the scar. After extubation, 3 cases with mild urinary incontinence, the bladder functional exercise after the symptoms disappear. 25 cases symptoms of frequent urination urgency, symptoms disappeared after symptomatic treatment. Has not been a serious perforation, false way and rectal complications. All voiding during the follow-up period. Patients IPSS score changed from (20.76 ± 4.62) to (9.04 ± 4.68), IPSS score and symptoms in patients with distribution level obviously improved (P < 0.05). Treatment before IIEF-5 score of the patients changed from (20.18 ± 4.75) to (20.01 ± 4.82) after treatment, two groups of patients before and after the treatment IIEF-5 rating of no significant difference (P > 0.05). Conclusions Rigid ureteroscopy combined plasma cylindrical electrode treatment of urethral stricture, has advantages of less injury, high safety, can effectively improve patient IPSS score, at the same time does not affect sexual function, clinical effect is remarkable.
